Frequently asked questions

1. Is it possible to carry out the IPT in an outpatient way?

Yes, the IPT can be carried out in an outpatient way, i.e. in a practice, as it has no or hardly any side effects and does not strain the patient physically or psychologically.

2. The IPT seems to have no or hardly any side effects. Which side effects are possible?

Due to low doses of chemotherapeutical remedies and medicine, the patients usually do not have any side effects. However, it is possible that the patient sweats more, feels a little lethargic or has a tight chest during the therapy. But all these problems subside after the treatment.

3. Why is it important to have a physician with an IPT certificate and a proper education?

Although the therapy is easy to apply, the physician needs to have comprehensive skills which are only provided by Dr. Donato Perez Garcia III, grandson of the founder of the therapy, and his staff. This type of education consists of a so-called basic training and a continual further education.

4. Why is the IPT not acknowledged by orthodox medicine in Europe?

The IPT derives from alternative medicine, i.e. it has been developed by general practitioners and improved over the decades. Meanwhile, many ten thousands of patients have been treated with the IPT, but it cannot - in contrast to methods that are developed by the industry with a multi-million budget - provide many expensive clinical studies according to the standards of the industry. It has to be kept in mind, however, that e.g. homeopathy and many other methods that are known and applied successfully are not acknowledged by orthodox medicine, as they do not seem to meet the standards.
